Born on October 8, 2001, she first encountered golf at age 9 through an after-school activity, and began full-fledged training at an academy from the winter of her third year of middle school. This was her first official KLPGA-sanctioned tournament win, coming about 4 years and 2 months after joining in July 2020, and immediately after the tournament, in September 2024, she joined the KLPGA as a full member. On September 9, 2025, at the KLPGA Dream Tour 14th round, held at Phoenix Country Club in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, she shot 8-under-par 64 to edge out Yang Hyo-jin by one stroke and claim her first Dream Tour win.
