K drama Four Hands Two Sonatas cast & Filming Location Recap

The Korean drama “Four Hands, Two Sonatas” follows in the footsteps of “Love Is a Dangerous Business,” depicting the story that unfolds as two geniuses face each other in front of a single piano.

It is a work about a boy who craved genius, and the other genius who shook that craving — depicting the special friendship, wounds, and growth of the two.

In the drama, Kang Bi-o (Song Kang) is a perfectionist who balances natural talent with 10 hours of daily practice.

As a child, his heart is shaken by the appearance of Choi Jeong-yo, a genius boy who once defeated him — the only person ever to do so.

Choi Jeong-yo (Lee Jun-young) is a genius musician who commands the stage with rebellious, improvisational playing.

Hong Jae-in (Jang Gyu-ri) is a viola major with perfect pitch, who connects Bi-o and Jeong-yo.

Director Park Hyun-seok, who directed the 2020 tvN drama “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” to critical acclaim, helms this production.
